Dr. Marla McMahon has worked extensively with adolescents, adults, and children in a variety of settings including hospitals and clinics in both Northern and Southern California. During her internship at Children's Hospital of San Diego, she specialized in the treatment of trauma, the focus of her doctoral dissertation. In addition, her experience includes evaluating learning issues and AD/HD for students at UC San Diego, a number of public and private schools, and several outpatient clinics.
In her spare time Dr. McMahon enjoys being outdoors on the Northern California coast, spending time playing with her two sons, reading novels, and traveling. She also practices vinyasa yoga on a frequent basis which she finds to be extremely beneficial for balance in her life.

She also works with men who are experiencing a range of issues including: depression, stress and anxiety, trauma, relationship problems, and AD/HD.
Dr. McMahon also works with many high school and college students on a variety of issues.
She has a focus on helping others find balance in their life and works with patient's on the connection to mind and body issues.
