Over thirty years in the psychological field, I obtained a bachelors degree in psychology from the Catholic University of America, a masters degree in clinical psychology from the University of Cincinnati, and a doctorate in psychology from the Miami Institute of Psychology. I began working in corrections for the Maryland Division of Corrections in 1989. I have treated and evaluated sex offenders for over twenty years. I am the former sex offender treatment director for the Iowa Department of Corrections. Since 2002, I have been in private practice as a forensic psychologist. I have consulted on cases in fifteen states and testified in state and federal courts. I am bilingual and regularly conduct evaluations on Spanish-speaking defendants. I have conducted over 1000 evaluations in criminal and civil matters.
